Discovered Suminagashi the art of Japanese marbling at a decorative paper workshop I attended and must say I found it fascinating. Suminagashi, which means floating ink, uses ink floating on water to create one-off patterns. These patterns can be printed on paper, fabric or objects such as boxes and so on.
